11pm update: Helene still has winds of 60 mph. No real change to the track. A few models are trying to nudge the track a bit East, but most are keeping the track locked in. Either way, NHC expects Helene to make landfall as a powerful Cat 3 hurricane with winds of 120 mph. Updates on ABC Action News and of course, we're on it right through landfall. We're here for you 24/7.

11pm Update: Still not quite Helene. No changes to track or intensity. NHC still believes it will be Cat 3 before landfall. Again, the system is not organized yet. Once it does, there could still be a relocation of the center which could change the ultimate track. This is covered in our discussions today. We'll update any changes overnight.

We are watching the storm yet to be named. All indications are it will make landfall well north of the Venice area.
