☘️ Epic Explorers LLC – Passport 72: Ireland Adventure ☘️
What a whirlwind weekend exploring Ireland! 🌪️✨
We kicked things off Thursday night, flying out of the U.S. and landing Friday morning ready to go. Friday was all about Dublin—starting with a fantastic food walking tour, sightseeing around the city, a visit to the iconic Guinness Storehouse, and wrapping up the night with dinner at La Caverna. 🍻🍝
Day two took us on the road with Paddywagon bus tour to see more of Ireland’s charm. We visited the stunning Rock of Cashel, explored Cork, and enjoyed local favorites like Murphy’s Irish Stout and Beamish Stout along the way. Lunch at Gallagher’s and a stroll through the famous English Market made it even better. And yes—we stopped at Blarney Castle… but we don’t kiss on a first date 😉 Back to Dublin for a relaxing dinner at Tenters.
Sunday started early with Finn McCool’s bus tour (bathrooms on board—important detail for a long ride! 😄). We stopped at the Service Station at Junction 23, M7 Motorway, Co. Tipperary (beside Moneygall), which is named after Barack Obama because the area has ties to his great-great-grandfather, before heading to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher—truly unforgettable views. From there, we explored the unique landscape of Burren, drove along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, and finished the day in Galway with a walking tour and incredible fish & chips at McDonagh’s. 🐟🍟
We wrapped up our last night back in Dublin with more Guinness at the rooftop bar of the Aloft Hotel—perfect way to toast an amazing trip. 🍺
Throughout the journey, we learned so much about Ireland’s rich history and truly enjoyed meeting the warm, friendly people who make this country so special. We absolutely loved Ireland and can’t wait to return! Shamrocks❤️
Before we knew it, we were heading home Monday afternoon—tired, happy, and already dreaming about the next adventure.
