Quiet winter mornings in the barn remind us how grateful we are for the horses and people who walk this path with us.

It is with great sadness to announce our Arabian "Thunder" just crossed the rainbow bridge. Impressive lineage, stunning movement and gorgeous conformation -- he was a registered true Arabian with both Polish and Eyptian heritage. But to us, he was just Thunder.

In typical fashion, it ironically was thundering hard but the sun remained just before his passing. We believe it was a sign.

Thunder loved life at Windkiss Ranch. He had many mare friends throughout his life with us but his bond with KATE was one-of-a-kind togetherness (our rescued broodmare shown within).

Thunder had just turned 23 last month.

Chief has found his perfect home with Amanda Burcar-Annis and Wendy Annis in MN. This is a long overdue announcement because Chief has been with this dynamic owner(s) since May 2024. We know they love him and enjoy him. Congratulations to both. He is a handsome boy!

THANK YOU all incredible friends and followers (near and far) who admired the true majestic strength and beauty of GG Oz the Wizard (“Oz”). We cannot express the appreciation we have for so many of you who offered words of love, condolence, and support for Oz. There are no words for me to express our heartfelt appreciation. We all have had a difficult month and 2024 year. It has been eerily sad and quiet without Oz with us. He sure was majestic to say the least! Such a presence. Frankly, one cannot go one day without shedding tears. But I want to say THANK YOU ALL who commented and reached out to us personally. You have no idea how much it means to us! He was so admired and cared for even after his forced retirement. Thank you all.
So herein, I am sharing a photo. Never to be forgotten and always near. We will be burying Oz on our property overlooking the fields in a very prominent spot with a granite bench engraved with his photo and name. Oz is FINALLY free. Too soon. We have all been quiet in the face of wicked. Let Oz Rest in Peace.
