**Meet the SOAR SSC Faculty**

🎤 Meet Ms. Vivian – SOAR Dream Team Member!

Ms. Vivian moved to Vero Beach, Florida from Levittown, Pennsylvania two years ago and is currently performing with the band The Floridelics.

Her musical journey began at just five years old under the guidance of her father, a talented musician. Over the past 25 years, she has developed into a powerful and versatile vocalist with an impressive performance background.

Throughout her career, Vivian has been a member of several bands, including the female trio Hunter, the classic rock band Spellbound, and the Top 40 rock band The Crush. She has also performed with numerous projects such as The Greaseband, Forecast, The Mix, Philadelphia Rock and Soul, The Sharon Lia Band, and as a backup singer for a Tina Turner tribute artist. In addition, she has shared her talents as a wedding singer with Best of Both Worlds DJ Entertainment and as a vocalist in the funk and soul band Main Street.

Vivian has participated in notable music events and festivals, including Firefly and The Ladies Who Rock Foundation. She is especially known for her exceptional harmonies and her ability to capture the styles of artists such as Norah Jones, Celine Dion, Pat Benatar, and Heart.

As a songwriter and creative artist, she enjoys exploring original music and developing her own unique sound. She has written many of her own ballads and songs and has collaborated with Ear 2 Ear Publishing and Costa Koligas on original works created specifically for her.

Vivian is excited to be part of the SOAR Dream Team and looks forward to inspiring young musicians through her passion, experience, and love of music.

**Meet the SOAR SSC Faculty**

🎻 Meet Mr. Richard Ballinger! ✈️🌊

With over 30 years of violin and viola performance experience, Richard brings a passion for music, teaching, and inspiring young musicians to every SOAR Summer String Camp experience.

A graduate of Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Music Performance degree, Richard has spent nearly two decades developing exceptional string programs and mentoring hundreds of students throughout the Treasure Coast. As Director of the Oslo Middle School Orchestra Program, he inspires more than 140 string students each year and previously led the Storm Grove School Orchestra Program for 12 years.

Richard has performed as a soloist and orchestral musician with ensembles including the Imperial Symphony Orchestra, Florida Southern College Orchestra, and the Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra.

He is also the co-founder of Ocean Strings alongside his wife, Nicole, and enjoys teaching ukulele, sharing his love of aviation, and pursuing adventures in surfing, sailing, swimming, and flying.

At SOAR, Mr. Richard loves helping students discover their potential, build confidence, and unleash a life filled with music, adventure, and soulful excellence. 🎶✨
