Hi friends! As you know, the food truck has been inactive for the last few weeks. There's a few reasons why I've taken a step back from it and I don't wanna go too much into detail but long story short, as I've been going through my mental health journey I promised myself that starting this year I was only going to focus my energy on things that truly brought me joy and unfortunately stepping into the food truck was not one of them. Also, with the shop project not going through I decided to realign my plans.

As of 3 weeks ago I have officially accepted and started a job with Victoria ISD. Most of my work consists of being side by side with bilingual children, which really hits close to home and I'm more than ecstatic about because I myself was an ESL student 15 years ago. I love being part of the amazing bilingual program VISD is continuing to develop to make a difference in the life of many children and parents.

For now we'll continue making meal preps every week and our messages are always open to receive special orders for food and sweets. I can't tell y'all for sure if I'll get back into the food truck any time soon, but I do want to thank each and everyone of you for all the love and support that has been given to me and my family over the last 3+ years.
