The Full Effect

Little life update:

Baby Charlee spiked a fever Thursday night- I canceled my work day Friday to keep her home. Her fever was very persistent and she quickly developed a nasty cough with congestion. After trying all of the remedies, we ended up having to give Tylenol to get her fever to break (it was 101.4). It kept shooting up so I took her in to the er yesterday morning. After running a full panel she was diagnosed with Human metapneumovirus (HMPV). They did a chest xray which showed signs of either pneumonia, bacterial, or viral. It’s too soon to rule anything out. We’ve been in the hospital for 24 hrs now and her fever is now under control. As of now they’re going to continue monitoring her. she has not been seen her doctor today, but once he’s does his evaluation we’ll know if we’re staying another day or able to go home. I’ll be moving all of my clients from this week so stay home and take care of my Sweet baby. Please say a prayer for us as we navigate this week.

But, a very special HMD to the woman who supports me through every season of life. The one who drops everything to be there for me and my family. The countless trips to spend the day, dog sit, babysit, or simply allow me to work a few extra hours never go unnoticed.

This woman is my rock, and I’m so thankful for the selfless love she gives without hesitation. She helps carry the weight of motherhood when it starts to feel heavy. Since becoming a mom myself, our relationship and bond have grown stronger than ever.
