To prevent clogs and overflows in your sewer line, make sure you don't put foreign objects in your toilet that it wasn't intended to handle. These include obvious items like toys, as well as less obvious ones like tissues, baby wipes, and paper towels.

If your sewage pump won’t start or run, this could be caused by a range of issues. One possibility is that the float switch is not being raised high enough, while another is that the pump is not receiving enough electricity.
