Our 2nd time to own a Conure, we just love them! If ya didn’t know, I’m a huge bird person & always have been!!! (Cockatiels, Cockatoo, Conures, Emus) lol.

Technically, she’s my 8yr olds ☺️ but we can say she’s mine lol.

Meet Mommas, aka Luna. 9 years old, stands for farrier, halter & lead broke but skittish. Was told she’s rideable, however, I’ve never put kids on her so I will not say that. I don’t have the time to put in to her training & trust building like I thought. She won’t be able to go until a few more months when her baby is weaned, & she also could be possibly bred again by my mini stud who got to her 2 weeks ago.

Meet Boots, around 11, stud. He has a cyst on his nose, only reason to remove it would be cosmetic as it does not bother or affect him in any way. He needs time & patience to build trust. I had him pawing me & letting me put a halter on him when I had time. Once you spend the time with him, he’s in your pocket type, follows you around everywhere & loves you to death. Never has kicked at me or acted crazy, like I said, once you spend time & build that trust with him, he’s the absolute sweetest 🥹🥹

If they go together, as he is truly in love with her 😭😭😭 I’ll make you a deal, you’ll basically get a 3 for 1 lol. I unfortunately have just lost the time I once had to keep working with my minis & I’m downsizing tremendously.

Who would be interested if I did another summer camp this year??? Cost would be much cheaper being that I’ve down sized on animals & no longer have a garden. It would be more like a drop your kids off for 2 hours to hang with the animals & learn type of thing!!!!

This time I’m thinking more evening time, last time we started at 9am & the heat was still miserable!!!!! I’m just trying to think of ideas.

With the downsizing, it might only be 2-3 days for 2 hours each day. Maybe the last day we could do a “water day” with a redneck waterslide? Just a tarp down our hill lol.

There would still be the hay & trail ride, mini donks & horses, emus, chickens, baby ducks, as of now I still do have 2 rabbits left, but it would be only me holding them due to the possibility of the kids getting scratched.

We may still be able to do fishing day, but this time I’ll buy worms lol. Last time our “dig our own” failed miserably 😅😅

Price would be around $25-$50 per child, depending on what activities, days, & times I can get going!!!
