Straßen sind wie die Lebensadern unserer Gesellschaft. Aus diesem Grund freut sich unsere Muttergesellschaft CRH, ihre neueste Initiative vorzustellen: das Accelerator-Programm „Roads of the Future“. Dieses Programm unterstützt Unternehmen bei der Bewältigung spezifischer Herausforderungen in drei Schlüsselbereichen des Straßenbaus:

👉 Grüne und nachhaltige Straßen
👉 Produktivität in Straßenbau

CRH ist führend bei nachhaltigen Straßenlösungen in Nordamerika und Europa, einschließlich selbstverständlich Österreich. Durch dieses Programm können Startups ihre Ideen bei führenden CRH-Unternehmen wie Danucem zu testen und weiterzuentwickeln, und unsere Straßen für alle besser zu machen.

Frauen im Baugewerbe sind heutzutage noch eine Seltenheit, aber das hindert sie nicht daran, Barrieren zu durchbrechen und die Landschaft dieser von Männern dominierten Branche mit ihren einzigartigen Perspektiven, ihrem Fachwissen und einer neuen Perspektive neu zu gestalten.

Sie bringen ein vielfältiges Spektrum an Talenten mit, und obwohl Frauen leider immer noch mit geschlechtsspezifischen Vorurteilen und gelegentlicher Diskriminierung konfrontiert sind, zeichnen sich Frauen weiterhin in verschiedenen Bereichen der Bau-, Beton- und Zementindustrie aus. Obwohl sie immer noch eine Seltenheit sind, sind ihre Anwesenheit und Beiträge von unschätzbarem Wert.

Anlässlich des Internationalen Frauentages möchten wir von der Danucem Wien daher unsere Frauen, die in unseren Betonwerken in Österreich arbeiten, sowie die Mitarbeiterinnen in unserer Verwaltung ehren.

At Danucem, there are many projects that we are proud of. To continue with the presentation of some of them, the Rudas Bath, in the heart of Budapest.

An emblematic building in the Hungarian capital, it can be recognized from afar by a distinctive detail. The roof of the Rudas Bath is in the shape of a dome housing an indoor swimming pool.

Using the exceptional Rohožník White recycled concrete, the bath has yet another distinctive feature: the dazzling snow-white facade impresses visitors with its timeless Ottoman-style decoration.

The sustainability should not be a one-day project, but a daily concern for each and every one of us. At Danucem, we care about our environmental impact. It's not just words, it's actions that speak for us.

We decarbonize our production by using alternative fuels and raw materials, and we also contribute to a circular economy that works.

❓ Can you tell us about your role (position) in Danucem?
👉 I am responsible for the entire administration of the Port Albern concrete plant in Vienna. This includes both supplier and customer relations.

❓ How long have you been working for Danucem?
👉 I started at BSC in Budapest at the beginning of 2016 and worked in several departments. I moved to Vienna in June 2022 because of my current position.

❓ Why did you choose Danucem?
👉 Actually Danucem (CRH) chose me..., and I haven't regretted it since!

❓ What has our company given you in your life?
👉 An opportunity to use my skills and even to improve. The multilingual environment and challenging work environment are what I appreciate the most. Of course, all of this would be worthless without valuable colleagues...

❓ Do you meet with colleagues outside of work?
👉 Yes, several friendships have been made here, some even after I changed country or they continue their careers elsewhere.

❓ Would you recommend Danucem to your friends?
👉 Yes, but only if they are ready to take responsibility for the tasks to be performed during their work! Because we are involved in processes in which all participants have an important role.
