Making some solid progress on my MG Freedom Gundam. Spent some time dry brushing to bring out those edge highlights, then added a few more layers of oil washes to push the depth and give it more character. It’s starting to feel like it’s got a story behind it.
This shot is just a rough draft of the diorama I’m working on—still figuring out the composition and what kind of scene I want to create. Thinking something gritty, maybe a battlefield moment or a repair bay setup. Still playing with ideas.
Appreciate everyone who’s been following along.

I’m never really sure what color to use for the inner frame of gundams. So I always just German Grey+dry brush gun metal with some chrome dray brush for weather and move on.

I was experimenting with a new technique for the black color and I'm thrilled with the result! Since my airbrush wasn't cooperating, I used a light grey base and layered thin black ink on top. The grey adds a nice weathered effect. Next step is to complete the inner frame color and start putting it all together!
