So the Gov decides to Ban students from carrying weapons to defend themselves on college campuses. I’m sure pro-ISIS terrorists like we had at ODU will comply.

Abigail Spanberger just made every student at Virginia universities criminals who have a firearm for self-defense - just a month after a shooting at ODU that could have ended with many deaths but for the heroic actions of ROTC cadets in the right place at the right time.

Gun free zones don’t make anyone more safe. If someone wants to bring a gun into a gun free zone and kill people they will. Disarming students makes them more vulnerable to attack.

Let me weigh in on the Jen Kiggans for Congress "controversy"

The biggest fairness problem with the National Popular Vote Compact is that it forces Virginians to have their presidential votes effectively tied to election systems in other states that Virginia cannot control.

States like California and New York use dramatically different voting laws, voter roll maintenance standards, mail ballot procedures, and verification systems. If another state has weaker safeguards or public distrust in its election integrity, Virginians still bear the consequences because every disputed or improperly counted vote elsewhere can effectively cancel out a lawful vote cast here in Virginia.

Under the Electoral College system, each state governs its own election and awards its own electors. The National Popular Vote Compact changes that balance by making Virginia dependent on election administration decisions made by officials thousands of miles away in states with very different political priorities and voting policies.

Whether someone is Republican, Democrat, or independent, voters should be concerned anytime their state’s electoral outcome can be overridden by voting systems they neither control nor trust.

It’s not a good day that Abigail signed this into law. While, it doesn’t change anything immediately. It puts us one step closer to an illegitimate process in selecting the president.

There were 108 House Bills and 72 Senate Bills the Virginia Governor sent back with amendments. Many of the amendments were rejected by the General Assembly.

The Governor has until 11:59pm on May 23 to sign or do nothing - and those bills will become law. The only way to stop any bill from becoming law - requires the governors affirmative veto. Will she veto the unconstitutional assault weapons ban? Will she veto collective bargaining - that if enacted - will cause substantial tax increases in every locality in Virginia to residents in the Commonwealth? We will find out in 11 days.
