This is Jeffery August’s daughter, Aniya. Thank you for the prayers and condolences. Please come join us as we lay my dad to rest and celebrate his legacy. He has touched so many lives and he will be greatly missed.

On August 10th, 2025, a Dignified Transfer Ceremony was held at Dover Base for A1C Immanuel Lorenzo Arrington, assigned to the 48th Security Forces Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, GB. Arrington, a native of Norfolk, VA, died in an off-duty vehicle accident earlier in the month.

On this day in 1782, George Washington established the Badge for Military Merit – forerunner of the Purple Heart. Today is set aside to honor those either killed or wounded while in service to our nation. Thank you to all the recipants of this award for your sacrifice for our Great Nation.
