You’re nearing the end of your first year at Baylor - let’s Cap It Off with a celebration just for you!

Swing by Fountain Mall Monday, May 4th anytime between 7-8:30pm! Wear your line jersey and slime cap, and enjoy some ice cream in your very own limited edition mini Slime Cap helmet!

There will also be photo ops and a word from President Livingstone.

Bethany Spurr, one of our previous Orientation + Baylor Line Camp leaders, shared with us the impact that Baylor Line Camp has had on her!

“Line Camp completely shaped my college journey. I started as a nervous but excited high school senior who was confident Baylor was the place for me. That week of Orientation and Line Camp in the summer of 2022 was truly life changing. For the first time, everything felt aligned. I felt that God brought me here for a specific reason, to make an impact on a community and a place I love so much.

I loved everything about my experience with Camp. What stands out most is the intentionality behind it, from the leaders, to Student Leadership Team, to staff. Every detail is designed to create a meaningful and impactful experience for new students. Camp is structured in such a thoughtful way that it naturally builds community and fosters real friendships.

I especially appreciated the balance between high-energy fun activities and the more reflective, insightful lectures. That combination made the experience both exciting and grounding. One talk that has stayed with me is “Story and Calling.” Even now, as I approach the end of my senior year, I find myself reflecting on it and thinking about my next steps. That speaks to the lasting impact Line Camp can have.”

The Baylor Line Camp Fund helps provide the opportunity for an incoming student who might otherwise have difficulty affording this cherished experience. This 4-day program is combined with Orientation and offers students the chance to connect with the rich history and tradition of Baylor while forging new friendships as they begin their unique Baylor story.
