“Yes, sir I filed all the 300 and 301 Forms with OSHA”.

Happy April Fool's Day!

Are you in compliance with OSHA’s Industry specific Injury and Illness Recordkeeping and Reporting Requirements? As of January 2025, many employers with more than 10 employees are required to keep a record of serious work-related injuries and illnesses. (Certain low-risk industries are exempted.)

Companies that meet certain size and industry criteria are required to electronically submit injury and illness data from their OSHA Form 300A, 300, and 301 (or equivalent forms) once per year to OSHA. OSHA collects this work-related injury and illness data through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA). As a member of ERMA, you can be certified as a “Certified Injury Recordkeeping Specialist.” Contact us to learn more!

Each year, OSHA requires certain employers to submit information about recordable injuries and illnesses from their OSHA Form 300A using OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application. Affected employers include establishments with 250 or more employees if they are already required to create and maintain OSHA records, as well as establishments with between 20 and 249 employees that belong to certain high-hazard industries. In addition, establishments with 100 or more employees in certain high-hazard industries must submit additional injury and illness information from their OSHA Forms 300 and 301.
