π₯ This past weekend was so much fun! I had the privilege of accompanying 2x Olympian Kelita Stevens at Jefferson City Judo in Missouri for a regional development camp hosted by American Judo. Sensei Kelita led 5 sessions packed with techniques and tactics essential for judo competitions. Then we ran a small tournament to get each participant 4 plus matches each!
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success! π

Happy 4th of July πΊπΈπ₯
I had an incredible experience at the FUJI BJJ Massachusetts Summer Open! π This event marked my debut in assisting with event operations and was the first Massachusetts FUJI BJJ Corporate tournament.
Leading the charge was Jovanni G., who personally visited over 30 schools across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine to market the event. His tireless efforts ensured the event was well-organized and provided an exceptional experience for everyone involved. πͺ
A special thank you to 4x Olympian and BJJ Black Belt Brian Olson for his outstanding leadership. He represented FUJI BJJ ownership by overseeing the setup and ensuring that all athletes and coaches were well taken care of. π
Special thanks to FUJI BJJ Owners Jimmy Pedro, Brian Olson, and Travis Stevens for their invaluable support. π Additionally, a big thank you to Francis Abramson from FUJI BJJ for his behind-the-scenes logistics and guidance. Lastly, to Casey Pedro for her support, patience, and organization. π οΈ
Our coaches, Travis Stevens, Jessica Camplese-Rodrigues, and Scotty Georgakilis, did an outstanding job leading our athletes to a 2nd Place finish for both Best Adult Team and Overall Academy. π₯ Their dedication and expertise were instrumental in our success.
Looking forward to September! βΊοΈ
