A group of volunteers, seeing that the downtown could become a promising destination location, teamed together to form the event planning committee.

Join us on December 2nd and help us support the Boys & Girls Club by donating a new, unwrappred toy or the Wakefield Food Pantry by donating a needed food item, at the 4th Annual Christmas Toy Drive and the 1st Annual Food Drive will occur on Saturday, December 2, 2023 between the hours of 1 – 4
P.M. at the Americal Civic Center, located at 467 Main St., Wakefield MA
Don's forget to come down to the Civic Center wearing you best decorated Christmas Hat or Best/Ugliiest Sweater Contests. A winner from each contest will receive a $50 gift certificate from one of 2 local restaurants.

Our Story
The Wakefield Community Partnership, (formally known as the Wakefield Event Planning Committee), is a group of volunteers, who will uphold this mission;
To strengthen collaborative efforts, foster economic mobility and enhance community engagement, through activities that celebrate the vibrancy and diversity that exist in Wakefield.
Wakefield Community Partnership has received nonprofit status and will to continue, to develop, implement activities and events, that have promoted and encouraged renewed community spirit that include such activities as, events, arts & culture, and residential community involvement which work together to promote a greater good for the Town.
The Partnership will continue to recognize that activities and events, while encouraging a renewed community spirit, also help to promote local businesses and generate new growth.
