Adoption Highlight, Zelda – Seeking Her Forever Home

Curious * Polite * Affectionate

Zelda, a gorgeous 2-year-old lady, might be a little reserved at first, but patience is richly rewarded with a devoted, lifelong friend. Curious and outgoing, she will easily charm your guests and has an adorable habit of rubbing against your legs to politely ask for attention.

Zelda is a cat of refined tastes: sunny windows, a warm lap (as long as you don't move too much), and sleeping on your pillow at night - she may even share it with you. She's calm and easygoing with the occasional playful streak. Zelda has a soft, sweet meow, impeccable manners, and a love for caresses — and she will happily guide you to her favorite petting spots. She isn't a huge fan of being picked up, but she handles it well, when necessary.

Zelda will thrive in a quiet, laid-back home with a cat-savvy companion who will appreciate and love her just as she is. She may do well with a similarly mellow, relaxed feline friend. While Zelda asks for patience as you win her over, she will reward your efforts tenfold. Zelda cannot wait to meet you, so do complete an adoption application today at pawswakefieldma.org and we’ll be in touch to discuss.

Make it a magnificent Monday!

Happy Tails, Adoption Update – Ragnell (Nell)

Nell, 1yo, came into PAWS protection earlier this year after being found outside. She was extremely shy and was fostered / socialized at the Kitty Cat Café in Peabody, a partner of PAWS. Nell was recently adopted, and her family sent a lovely note and photo of her happily settled into her forever home.

‘She is doing amazing and getting braver by the day. She purrs when we give her treats and has gotten a lot more comfortable coming out and even exploring, especially at night. She’s definitely still very shy, but she is adjusting much better than we thought she would!’

Congratulations to Nell’s family on adopting a rescue pet! Nell is quite the sweetheart and we look forward to additional updates and photos as she blossoms in your care. We wish you all much joy and love as you grow together as a family.
