Coldenham Fire-Rescue

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the wonderful community who always supports us day in and day out. We would especially like to thank Do It Best who recently donated several pallets of speedy dry to our organization. We would also like to thank a community resident who wishes to remain anonymous for the delicious dinner donated to our members tonight. This meal was enjoyed by all who attended drill tonight and really meant a lot to the members who typically miss family dinners on Tuesday evenings due to firehouse events. Your kindness and generosity mean more to us then we can explain.

The Officers and Members of the Coldenham Fire Company send our sincere condolences to the Arciero family and the Mechanicstown Fire Company. Scott was always a great friend to our company and he will be greatly missed. RIP Chief see you on the top floor.

It is with deep sorrow that the Fire Chiefs Association of Orange County announces the passing of Past President Scott S Arciero. Chief Arciero went home to the Almighty Chief on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Chief Arciero was also a Past Chief for the Mechanicstown Fire Department and Past Financial Secretary of the Orange County Volunteer Firefighters Association.

The officers and members of the FCAOCNY keep the Arciero and Mechanicstown FD in our prayers.

Services for Chief Arciero will be on Thursday, June 25, 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell funeral home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY
Service will be 11 am Friday, June 26 at the funeral home and burial at Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Rd, Middletown.
