Clover lawn alternative ❤️
WAY less thirsty than traditional lawns and is staying so lush and green through the summer heat. This is a common white clover so it can be a bit taller than a traditional lawn look. Luckily, many places carry mico- clovers which are shorter- growing clovers for a look more similar standard lawn.

Planting in summer is still possible with a little more care. Things to remember:
1. Plant when its cooler. As a general rule, 80 degrees or below is safe to plant.
2. Water plants well after planting.
3. Check water needs daily. It's easy to overwater in summer when we see a plant wilting. Remember that overwater symptoms and needing water symptoms are the same. Check the dirt 2" down before watering to make sure the plant needs it.
