One of our new Fall releases is the fifth in our Artist Series magnums by regional artist Hiroko Cannon. When we discovered Hiroko's wildlife art, we were absolutely captivated. She paints largely from memory, and uses the tiniest of brushes, depicting in such detail the intricacy and exquisite beauty of her subjects. Following the concept of our first four artist series labels, number five features an image from our label icon, the Green Darner Dragonfly. These beautiful creatures, with their shimmery, translucent coloring, are commonly found in our streams, ponds, and marshes. Watery locations such as these provide hunting grounds in an annual migratory loop that takes at least three generations to complete! The wine is one special barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon from Bacchus Vineyard Block 9b.
