Preface
Looking back on these six years of running the boba shop,
It feels like a dream,
 at the time, like a faded film.
 
Whether –
When the dream awakens,
Or the curtain falls,
those memories—
filled to the brim with love—
linger and refuse to fade.
 
The days of laughing together with customers
are no longer here.
I am still here,
but no longer standing on a stage
where I meet people face to face.
 
And I begin to ask myself:
has my value
also ceased to exist?
 
Does the nature of light ever change?
No—
unless it is deliberately covered by darkness.
 
If that is so,
then in my present place,
how can I continue
to be salt and light?
 
The vision of compiling my poems into a book
gives me the strength to move forward.
I hope this first volume,
through poetry and prose,
will allow readers to feel
the power of love
and that He is always there.
