When I hear “Be the bigger person”- seems like they are telling me to accept the disrespect… MMM- No that doesn’t work for me!!
You deserve the respect, care, and love that you give to others.
Remember never accept disrespect and inappropriate treatment from someone, they will assume that it’s perfectly ok with you.
What behaviors you allow and how you treat yourself is the message you send out to others. You are worthy. You matter. 🤍

Treat your children with the respect, kindness, and love that you deeply desire for yourself in life. What our children see, how they feel about the love and safety in the home, and the freedom they feel to be exactly who they are, is who they will become and how they will show up in the world.
(A child that is treated with respect won’t have to spend their adulthood learning they are worthy of it. - .Simeone)
