Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach our goal this year. We officially hit $19,270 for the 2022 AFSP walk; this brings our overall total from 2017-YTD to $85,623. I can't express how much we appreciate your support.
Year after year, we are successful at raising funds, and we love to plan events, which always helps, but it always makes me ask myself, what's next? What more can I do? And then I think back to conversations that I have had. Over the last several years, parents, aunts, uncles, and friends of people that are suffering have contacted me looking for help because they are at a loss at what to do. I do my best to help guide them in the right direction, and I appreciate the fact that they feel that they can come to me, but each time it reminds me of how we lack resources for these families. So our goal for 2023 is to start our own non-profit. We are still working out the details, but stay tuned for more to come on The G-Cal Foundation. We have worked so hard to make a name for ourselves that it only seems fit to expand on it and keep our promise to Georgie that WE WILL make a difference.
