We had a wonderful time yesterday with Inspiration Ministries visiting our Fire Department. Carrie, Alex and Jenna wanted to see the trucks and equipment. We welcome everyone in every community to come down and learn, share stories and spend time with us. We would like to share this sweet message from our visitors:

Countless thank you’s for tour and education! The tour you all provided to our day service participants was awesome & Your team went above and beyond to make our group feel included, welcomed and valued!!!!

It was an incredible opportunity for our participants to see the inside workings of the medical world and emergency services!

Seeing the firetrucks and ambulance firsthand gave them a sense of excitement, but more importantly, your kindness and patience in explaining your work in and out of the community and with the disabled population gave them the opportunity to feel empowered and to flourish in a new environment!!!!

In a world that can often feel chaotic, seeing men and women dedicated to serving others in their time of need reminds us of the importance of selfless service—a principle we see directly modeled in Christian Scripture
