Charlie has spent her entire life in a home.

Born into rescue and adopted as a puppy, she has never known the uncertainty of a shelter or boarding facility. For nearly three years, she has been loved by a wonderful family and has lived alongside one of her sisters.

Unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, sibling syndrome has developed between the girls. After months of trying to manage the situation, the heartbreaking decision has been made that Charlie needs a home of her own.

The need is becoming urgent.

We are actively searching for either a foster or adopter before Charlie loses the only home she has ever known. While her family loves her dearly, this situation is no longer sustainable, and we need our supporters to help us find her a safe place to land.

🐾 3 years old
🐾 Approximately 60 pounds
🐾 Housebroken
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Walks nicely on leash
🐾 Great with people, including children
🐾 Shy when first meeting new people but quickly becomes a loving, loyal companion
🐾 Loves toys, bones, and being part of the family

Charlie would be absolutely incredible as an only dog, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

If there is another dog in the home, multiple meet-and-greets would be required to ensure everyone is comfortable and set up for success.

The hardest part of Charlie's story is that she has done absolutely nothing wrong.

She is a good dog, a loved dog.

A dog who simply needs a fresh start because of circumstances beyond her control.

Many of you followed Fiona's journey after it became clear she would be happiest as the only pet in the home. While finding that special match took time, we never gave up on this sweet girl—and neither did all of you who shared her story and helped keep her visible.

Today, we are beyond thrilled to share that Fiona has found her forever home with the amazing Madison and Adrian! ❤️

After being rescued from a high-kill shelter in the South, Fiona has been through quite a journey. Through it all, she remained the same loving, affectionate, goofy girl who simply wanted to be close to her people. A champion cuddler, expert pup cup enthusiast, and loyal companion, Fiona has always had so much love to give.

The updates we've received from Madison and Adrian have been everything we hoped for and more. They absolutely adore her, and Fiona has settled in beautifully. Whether she's curled up next to them on the couch, enjoying a walk, grabbing a pup cup, or soaking up all the love and attention she can get, it's clear she is exactly where she belongs.

And of course, Fiona's toy collection is growing! Her favorites are tennis balls and tug toys, but she's also been known to enjoy a squeaky toy or two. Watching her play, snuggle, and simply be loved is exactly what we've always wanted for her. ❤️

We also want to thank Shannon and Tara, who loved Fiona dearly and went above and beyond to keep her safe, happy, and loved while we searched for her perfect forever home. Their commitment to Fiona helped us to make this happy ending possible.
