Congratulations to Staff Inspector Kathryne “Kat” Rohde on her retirement from the New York State Police after an outstanding career of service.

Kat was always great to work with and was supportive of me both during my law enforcement career and later as a Dutchess County Legislator. Wishing her all the best, happiness, and plenty of time to enjoy this next chapter.

As one chapter closes, another begins. Best wishes to Major Brian Ferrone as he takes command of Troop K, and congratulations to Major Daniel Smith on his promotion to Staff Inspector at Division Headquarters. Both are highly respected leaders, and will continue to serve with distinction in their new roles.

Thank you to all the organizations and vendors who provided valuable resources and information to help support our seniors and improve quality of life in our community. Special thanks to the Recreation Department for putting together such a successful event.
