We will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day so our team can celebrate with family and friends.

With the heat and humidity rising, please remember to keep your pets safe this holiday weekend — limit outdoor time, provide plenty of fresh water, avoid hot pavement, and never leave pets in a parked car.

Big night at the ballpark! ⚾

Wareham Animal Hospital is thrilled to sponsor the Wareham Gatemen Baseball Team this season. Last night kicking things off with the first pitch was a blast, and you could feel the community energy from the stands as the game got underway.

Even better—Gatemen pulled out the win! 🙌 Thanks to everyone who came out and made it unforgettable.

In observance of Memorial Day, we will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We encourage you to take this time to remember and honor those who have served.

✨ Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26th from 12-10 PM.

A few weeks back, this beautiful little girl visited us after being attacked by a hawk injuring her bill. It was a tough start, but with the brilliant creativity of Dr. Fernandez — and some incredible teamwork from a local dental technician — she received a custom-made bill designed just for her. Today she’s healed, happy, and living her best life. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

🌷 Spring has officially sprung! With the warmer days finally here, we’re all getting out and doing more — and that includes our pets. As you enjoy the season, here are a few important reminders to help keep your furry friends safe:

🐾 Year-round preventatives matter Flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives should be given all year long. Even early spring brings active pests, and staying consistent is the best protection.

🕷️ Ticks are out, be sure to perform tick checks after outdoor adventures and consider using tick collars or other VETERINARY RECOMMENDED protection.

🚗 Warm days = hot cars even mild temperatures can cause cars to heat up quickly. Please use caution when bringing pets along for errands.
