Forged in the desolate wasteland known as Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada over a decade ago, VHS has been a consistent and tongue in cheek pain in the underground metal scene's ass.

Born out of a love for nostalgia, VHS has kept the desire to show homage, respect and poke more than just a bit of fun alive and burning bright over the course of 8 full length albums and even more splits, singles and EPs. The love of old school metal and video rental culture runs deep but the band is never afraid to take chances and has consistently pushed to try new and unique things with each release while maintaining the raw DIY spirit they embodied from day one.

Death (Official) alumni RICK ROZZ (Massacre) and TERRY BUTLER (Obituary) join forces with Gore Metal pioneer MATT HARVEY and Gruesome drummer GUS RIOS to form LEFT TO DIE. Their new album, Initium Mortis, pays homage to the brutal beginnings and capture the morbid depths of DEATH / MANTAS.
