🍽️🥡 Plastic #6: The one with the identity crisis!

Did you know that expanded polystyrene, polystyrene, and the brand name Styrofoam are all #6 plastic? Different names, same recycling bin at Clover! ♻️

The most important rule? It has to be CLEAN. And we mean really clean.

🚫 No spaghetti sauce stains in your Italian takeout container.
🚫 No dried potting soil or cobwebs in plant pots.
🚫 No leftover food... not even a single noodle.

Why? Because even a little bit of food can become an all-you-can-eat buffet for mice, roaches, and other critters. Once pests move in, they can contaminate an entire load of recyclable material—and nobody wants that. 😱🫣

So if it's clean, dry, and marked #6, bring it to Clover and toss it in the #6 Polystyrene bin. Expanded polystyrene, polystyrene, and Styrofoam all go in the same place!
