We are excited to share a special Building Bridges Over a Cup this summer. WE will have the opportunity to taste crafted Spa Water while learning more about how we respond to trauma.
Trauma affects far more than our memories. It influences how we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to everyday stress.
The presentation will provide a brief summary of trauma, common reactions to traumatic experiences, and lasting impacts. The goal is to provide an understanding of trauma-informed therapy while learning practical strategies that support resilience, health, and compassionate responses to those affected by trauma.
Patricia (Trish) Taylor, MSMHC, LPCC-S, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation in private practice at Insight Clinical Counseling and Wellness in Austintown, Ohio. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she specializes in the treatment of trauma, substance use disorders, and forensic mental health. Patricia is Certified in EMDR therapy and has provided counseling services in private practice, community mental health, correctional settings, and specialty treatment programs. Known for her practical, engaging, and compassionate approach, she is passionate about studying the impact of trauma and assisting others towards finding healthier versions of themselves.
