I just finished this design for a 4-in-a-row game combined with a chess board. The amount of engraving might be a little bit excessive but I like how it turned out.
Laser files are available in my Etsy shop.
It takes quite a bit of extra design time and planning but having a parametric model that auto-updates when the material thickness is changed makes it much easier to offer a design in multiple thicknesses.
This is a design for a modular wall-mounted paint can holder that I finished recently. It does not require any glue for assembly and the design may be laser cut or it can be cut with an 1/8" endmill.
I included files for 11 different material thicknesses ranging from 3mm[.118"] to 6.2mm[.244"]. This means that with a little kerf adjustment(allowance offset in Vectric) this design can be used with ANY material thickness within that range.
