Angel (left) and Zeus are two handsome guys, and a perfect example of why littermates or even unrelated same-age puppies should never be placed together. They are 5-year-old littermates (in case you can't tell...lol) and very co-dependent upon each other (a symptom of litter-mate syndrome). So at this point they can't be separated. They are healthy, neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heart worm.
The best home is adult only, or a home with older children due to their size and activity. Must be ONLY pets, they are NOT good with small furry things and Zeus isn't good with other dogs. They are both very social with humans, happy, playful and gorgeous pups.
Angel and Zeus were originally adopted from the SPCA in Oregon and brought here when their family moved to RI, but then there was a change in their owner's living situation and the boys weren't able to go along. They are Labrador/Rottweiler mixes weighing about 90 # each: Angel has the blue collar, Zeus is wearing orange. We know having two large dogs might not be everyone's cup of tea but we are hoping someone will come through for them.
They are moderately active and seem to be well-behaved indoors. They are large and strong so anyone adopting needs to be physically able to control them and walking them together is not a realistic option unless there are two people with each taking one dog, or the dogs undergo rigorous obedience training.
