AOTA advocacy has led to a major win for occupational therapy practitioners and patients! Aetna has updated its OT policy to eliminate the physician's signature requirement on OT plans of care, recognizing the profession's clinical autonomy and reducing administrative barriers that can delay care.

The Conference Committee is currently accepting proposals for Presentations and Posters for its annual Fall Conference scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood, MA.
