In 1871, purchased by the Buttonwood Beach Association to establish a summer colony for the Cranston Street Baptist Church. The Greene Farm was divided in 1806.

We had a small but hardy crowd turn out for this year’s plunge to support the Buttonwood Beach Chapel. Many thanks to our neighbors, friends and plungers, and to Lori and John Conforti and Jeff and Nancy Platt for their efforts in organizing the plunge again this year!
