Wowza. Today marks 4 weeks since we moved to Warwick, Rhode Island (from our beloved Chicago) and these pics are the one and only time I've gotten my real camera out thus far. One word for the last month that mostly comes to mind is: overwhelming.

House projects, two wild kids, pregnancy pains and exhaustion, attempting to begin building community, missing friends, navigating a new school system and medical services, having our own yard for the first time, figuring out how to not live in a big city as a family, finding the best beaches and playgrounds, exploring cool towns around us, searching for a good coffee shop, home depot runs, fun furniture shopping, attempting to balance fun and work, feeling so grateful for this time, feeling so over the chaos, trying to meaningfully connect with my partner in the midst of the overwhelm... It's been... A lot.

Some days I question if we made the right decision, some days I'm so positively glad we're here. I'm trying to remember what always says: "no emotion is final". Counting the good days as wins and trying to be patient with the hard days ♥️

Have you ever done a big move?? With kids? Solo? I'd love to hear :)
