Sail for Epilepsy

We wanted to share the initiative, energy, and advocacy of one of our 2026 One More Step Grant Recipients, Sophia, from Florida. She started an organization called Project TEEN and wants to grow:

Project TEEN is an already established initiative, and my focus is on expanding its reach and impact. To do this, I will strengthen existing hospital partnerships while building relationships with new neurological units to serve more teens. I will increase outreach to brands and community partners to secure consistent, large-scale donations of self-care items.

With expanded resources, I will streamline the assembly process to produce more care packages efficiently, while maintaining the intentional and personal touch that defines Project TEEN. Finally, I will implement a feedback system with patients and healthcare providers to continuously improve and adapt the packages as the program grows.
