đź”´ Transparency International's Exporting Corruption 2022 report is OUT NOW!
Only two of the 47 countries analyzed – the U.S. and Switzerland – actively enforce their foreign anti-bribery laws.
Despite this, gaps remain in the U.S. legal framework and enforcement system, such as insufficient whistleblower protections and the exception for facilitation payments.
Congress should also criminalize the demand side of bribery by passing the Foreign Extortion Prevention Act (FEPA).
