An integral part of our Behavioral Parenting Program (BPT) is helping parents establish routines.
-
Here are some tips to help YOU establish effective routines:
x Work on one routine at a time
x Sit down with your child and write out simple routines together
x Set your child up for success! Get children up 10 minutes earlier in order to give them more time to complete morning routine steps on their own
x Giving your child the responsibility of checking off routine steps as they complete them
x Praise your child when completing a step!
