Did you know the DoD Day of TAP sets up transitioning Service members for success by focusing on three key areas

Managing Your (MY) Transition: Tackles the "less obvious" stuff like family adjustments, workplace culture shock, and connecting with valuable resources.

MOC Crosswalk: Translates military skills and experience into civilian credentials, helping find the right career path.

Financial Planning for Transition: Prepares for the financial changes of civilian life, including budgeting, cost-of-living comparisons, and more.

Get ready for a successful transition with DoD Day!

Transitioning can be stressful. Remember to take time for self-care. TAP is here to support you every step of the way.
Schedule Time for Relaxation: Even just 15 minutes a day of dedicated "me time" can make a huge difference. This could be anything from reading a book and listening to music to meditation or a warm bath.
Stay Connected with Loved Ones: Lean on your support network. Spend time with family and friends, talk about your feelings, and engage in activities you enjoy together.
Prioritize Physical Health: Maintain a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, a balanced diet, and enough sleep. Physical well-being significantly impacts mental and emotional well-being.
