At Kappo, some of our favorite moments happen around a shared table. Strangers become neighbors, conversations begin over a passing plate, and a meal becomes something more than what’s served.

Juneteenth reminds us of the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where people can gather, connect, and be seen. As we reflect on this day, we honor the history, strength, the contributions of Black communities, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.
