It’s International Day! This morning at 10:20 a.m. (local time), alongside our clients and local elementary school children, we participated in the world’s largest earthquake preparedness drill. Our clients were in Washington, D.C. earlier this week as experts tackled important topics within the built environment: resilience, technology, building performance & sustainability. Members of the Planning, Safety, and Building Science Division were keynote speakers on both days of the event.

Members of the Earthquake and Wind Programs Branch are in Palm Springs, CA this week for the Southern California Earthquake Center's annual conference! This is the event's first in-person conference in three years, and our clients are so excited to be presenting updates from the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program.
