Sometimes kindness arrives in ways we don’t immediately understand. An elderly woman sells fruit on the sidewalk using an old sheet spread across the ground. A police officer approaches and suddenly clears the area, tossing away her fruit as she watches in tears. People nearby think he’s being heartless.

Minutes later, the same officer returns pushing a brand-new commercial fruit cart — shiny, organized, and fully stocked with fresh fruit. The old woman breaks into tears, overwhelmed with gratitude.
