Hey there! It's been a while since we've given an update, so here is what is going on. Paperhaus has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2019, but everyone involved in making the records are still making music we think is worth mentioning. So here's some music to check out for those still interested in something from Paperhaus world.
Alex and Matt are making music together in a new project called How???. Notnothow just put out their first single last week, and a full length album and tour is coming in April.
Matt also performs solo as Swoll when he’s not busy touring with J. Robbins or playing in Burial Waves.
When Alex Tebeleff isn’t working in the studio doing mixing, mastering, production, and scoring work, he also performs on modular synthesizer as Gold.fix.
After years writing and touring with Paperhaus and Lauren Ruth Ward, Eduardo has settled deep into studio work. He composes for podcast and film, including the recent SCL award winner Patrol.
Rick is of course always doing something musical. He releases his own music as JAU OCEAN, still plays drums in Wanted Man, and you can still find him mixing and recording countless projects in his studio in DC.
Brandon is still writing and performing his unique music as Ducts. You can find him working on countless other interesting collaborations in DC too.
John is in Poland doing research on the far-right that has emerged there like many places over the last decade, but still finds time to put out Stronger S*x and Johnny Fantastic when he can.
Danny is rocking the drums with his brother and paperpal Joey in his project Halpine, and also plays in fellow longtime DC musician Kalani Tifford’s latest project Thunderpaw.
Obviously there's a lot that can't be said in a limited social media post. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to make music with each other, and most of all grateful to have had your ear and support all those years. We hope you find something new that inspires you here too. Thank you for listening and believing in us.
