Institute for Public Health Innovation
What do we do? Simply put - The Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) adds capacity to the public health system.
IPHI is honored to see our Voice of America (VOA) report featured in the Generations Brain Health Initiative (GBHI) podcast as part of the Council on Health spotlight. This recognition highlights the importance of community-centered research and the real-world impact of strengthening public health systems through collaboration, innovation, and voice. We’re proud to be featured in conversations that move health equity forward.

We are proud to support the Drums No Guns Foundation (DNG) and its Massive Resilience Program, a restorative justice initiative helping create school-to-freedom pathways for Richmond youth. 🥁
Since 2023, we have partnered with DNG to support healing-centered engagement, conflict resolution, and community connection through the arts. To date, the program has impacted more than 1,000 students in Richmond’s East End.
Thank you to Richmond Memorial Health Foundation and the Richmond & Henrico Public Health Foundation Health Equity Fund for supporting this important work.
