I can’t believe this little guy is 4! He’s such a bundle of fun. Whether he’s asking me to watch the geese, hold his hand, or help him pick up sticks, being his Auntie is the best. 💕Love you forever, G!

Last week, Grandma Peg went to be with Jesus. It’s been a week of grieving our loss and celebrating her homegoing. And a week of remembering her.

In April of 2017, I took a trip to Florida with a friend and decided to go visit Gram while I was in the state. We went to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants with a view of the ocean. One of the things I remember most about my grandma is how she would hold on to me when we were sitting or standing next to each other like she did in this photo.

A year or two prior to this picture, Gram told me she once visited a friend of hers who lived in Nashville and got to go to the Grand Ole Opry. She raved and raved about the experience. So, when I had the chance to go to Nashville in Dec 2016, I made sure to get her a Grand Ole Opry t-shirt. She loved it! I loved that she made a point to wear it when I visited. ☺️ It was a short visit, but I’m so glad we had that time together!

About a year after my visit, Gram’s health started to decline. She moved into a care facility and wasn’t able to travel to visit us anymore. Which means the above picture is probably the last picture of the two of us.

Gram was never shy about her love for life, Jesus, and her family. I’m so grateful I had her for as long as I did. 💕
