How to have a "No Drama Obama" Thanksgiving!

There is a lot of talk about 2024 becoming a battle between democracy and fascism but its important to remember if we want to build LONG-TERM TRUST with our family, friends and neighbors on political issues so we can defeat Trumpism once and for all we need to be able to hold authentic empathetic conversations with people across the political spectrum.

That means we need to engage by patiently LISTENING and RESPECTING the concerns of loved ones and ASKING QUESTIONS not just arguing to prove you're right. Avoid "drop the mic" insults and trendy academic-sounding buzzwords that are being used by the media on both sides that can trigger emotional reactions.

In the best case scenario you will create more active Democrats and at minimum you can nudge them away from the path toward extremist MAGA activism.
