🚨Update on the earthquakes in : The World Food Programme (WFP) is distributing emergency food aid to the most vulnerable people affected by the earthquakes. In La Guaira, the hardest-hit state, WFP teams completed an initial food distribution for more than 1,200 people, covering their food needs for one month.

This Father’s Day, we honor the fathers doing everything they can to keep their children healthy, safe and hopeful — even in the hardest circumstances.
One of these fathers is John Marie.
After fleeing unrest in Burundi, losing his wife and caring for his daughter when she became sick with malnutrition, John Marie knew he had to protect his family’s safety and health.
He started a small food business by hand and, with mentorship and support from the World Food Programme, grew it into Abizera. Today, he helps his community access affordable, nutritious food while providing for his children.
His love is strength in action. ❤️ Happy Father’s Day from World Food Program USA.

Yet people like Nyanyik don't know where their next meal will come from.
