Happy July! This month, we are observing Disability Pride, Mental Health Awareness, and the 250th year of American independence. But what does freedom truly mean? For DWD, freedom means being seen, heard, and authentically represented in all areas of life—especially in media and civic spaces.

As June comes to a close, I’m reflecting on a month that asked us to stand tall in our visibility, deepen our leadership, and honor the histories and communities that shape our collective story.

Pride Month reminded me of the strength found in living authentically — without apology, without compromise. Juneteenth reminded me of the ongoing work of liberation, equity, and cultural truth‑telling.

Through it all, the Divas With Disabilities Project™ continued to amplify disabled women whose voices, brilliance, and presence push the culture forward.

As Founder and President, I remain committed to building spaces where our stories are seen, our leadership is valued, and our impact is undeniable.

July is ahead, and I’m stepping into it with purpose, clarity, and momentum. Let’s keep moving the narrative.
