The Howard Upward Bound Program is currently participating in a shoe drive until January 15, 2020. If you or anyone you know would like to donate gently worn, used, or new shoes please let me know. Mens, women's, and kids shoes of all types (sneakers, boots, sandals, flip flops, and athletic cleats) are accepted and the only stipulations are there can be no holes or tears in the shoes material and the sole must still be on the shoe. All monies collected from the drive will go to scholarships for Upward Bound students throughout the District of Columbia
If you would like to donate let me know and I will arrange a time to pick up the shoes if you are unable to drop them off in our office.
