Inspection Panel Chairperson Ibrahim Pam leads a discussion on the investigation into the Tanzania: Resilient Natural Resource Management for Tourism and Growth (REGROW) Project. He is joined by Panel Member Evelyn Dietsche and Senior Policy Advisor Serge Selwan, who offer in-depth information and reflections on the case, including the World Bank Management Action Plan proposed to address the Panel’s findings. The video concludes with former Panel Chairperson and Lead Investigator Mark Goldsmith, who shares lessons learned from the investigation. We acknowledge as well Ramanie Kunanayagam who was then the Chairperson of the Inspection Panel during the investigation.

Panel registers Request for Inspection on the Sustainable Financing for Rogun Hydropower Project and Technical Assistance for Financing Framework for Rogun Hydropower Project in Tajikistan. The World Bank Management shall provide the Panel with a response to the issues raised in the Request for Inspection which the Panel expects to receive by May 23, 2025. After receiving Management’s response and engaging with the relevant stakeholders, the Panel shall make a recommendation to the Board of Executive Directors on whether the matter should be investigated.
